گرامر Embedded Questions در انگلیسی
embedded question سوالی است که در سوال دیگر یا بیان دیگری قرار گرفته است.بعد از عبارت های مقدماتی رایج هستند از قبیل :
I wonder
Could you tell me
Do you know
Can you remember
Let’s ask
We need to find out
I’d like to know
Could you tell me
I’m not sure
Would you mind explaining

Rule One
اگر embedded question قسمتی از یک جمله دیگر است یک نقطه در پایان جمله استفاده کنید نه علامت سوال.
همچنین اگر سوال در حال ساده یا گذشته ساده است افعال کمکی do, does و did را حذف و شکل فعل را به صورت مناسب تغییر دهید.

اگر embedded question شامل یک فعل کمکی یا افعال “to be” باشد جای فاعل و فعل کمکی را عوض کنید.به مثال زیر توجه کنید.

Embedded questions با whether, whether or notو if زمانی که کلمه سوالی در جمله نباشد. (yes/no questions)
